The Archives of "Return to Nothoreadhel"

For many of the sessions, one or more players (go Amy!) have kept an in-character journal of the week's events. This page links to those histories as well as to the new material that was introduced to the game in that session.

In addition to these interesting-to-read summaries, there is a note-form record which one player (go Chaos!) has kept and which is posted here mainly for the players' reference.

The Long Delving

 
The First Branch
Session 1 - Into the breach ... once the orcs had cleared out.
Session 2 - Further in... a holding of undead Silver dwarves and some new adventurers.
Session 3 - Plants, sky, and a druid... all a quarter mile underground.
Session 4 - The fight with the Plant Lord, and a Watcher ... watches.
Session 5 - An agreement with the Guardians and a new goal. Grettir writes a letter.
Session 6 - In which many secrets are revealed, and an NPC joins [Guardian, Explorer]
Session 7 - Several waystations along the Delving.
Session 8 - A strange attack takes a companion before the party arrives in Bar Khadan, delving of the Copper Clan.
Ex Corpus Draconis
Session 9 - Beating a path out of Bar Khadan as the engines of war lumber into motion; Faile returns.
Session 10 - Ambushes avoided as the party parries Emsariel's vanguard on the way to the Throat of G'mar.
Session 11 - Strange spiders in the abandoned tunnels past The Throat
The Northern Bastion
Session 12 - Dwarves don't appreciate the water, even if it's the only way into the Northern Bastion.
Session 13 - In the Northern Bastion, a worthiness test set by the Dondar. Mysterious keys.
Session 14 - Slow progress through the Bastion and a fight with salamanders.
Session 15 - The last two keys, fighting a monster of sound, and the keys unlock ... a pair of deadly twin fighters.

The Changing Ways

The Silver Clan
Session 1 - Investigating a Dondar cache, despite the monkeys.
Session 2 - Through Orc lands to the Silver City. And Barg. And Emsariel.
Session 3 - A fight in the Armory.
Session 4 - Intercepted information from the Library and Emsariel closes the main gate to the city.
Session 5 - Some time in the old Mayor's place and off to the Library

Ermaldrine

Session 13 - Three months after the first visit, it's still a mess under Telperest. A fight between sentinels.
Session 14 - Edswotha repelled from Ermaldrine. Parna lost.
Session 15 - Parna regained, the party plans.
Session 16 - Emsariel ambush, and the Wrath of Fallen Might dies.


Endgame

The Felderoak
Session 1 - Through the sentinel network to the Silver City.
Session 2 - Demons and Druids and Constructs, oh my! The Silver City beseiged. (three years!)
Session 3 - Defending the Baelan Travertine against ... the Great Oaks? The party separated.
Into the Maw
Session 4 - Through the Dreaming and the Gates to the Maw at last to confront the Betrayer.
